The positive inhumanity of science

What I like about science is that there is no judge, there is no reason. Nature is there, and it doesn’t give a shit whether you understand it or not. Nature happens. It just does.

Like I do. I happen, for no reason, no will, no aim. And yet what I do is artificial.

In science nobody cares who you are, where you are from, what you believe. It’s what you do that matters. Or at least it should be. Working in science who I am doesn’t matter that much, as far as I can do.
